Luis's Outfit of the Day: Checkered Pants

Tired of plain pants and the usual jeans for your kids? Try 'shopping outside the big box' and explore the alternatives. This pair of navy blue checkered pants with a 1960's golf pants vibe is a treasure. Not only that I love the fit on him, the color combination and the soft fabric are major considerations. Its flat front, straight wide leg cotton blend with hook tab and zippered front closure, front slash pockets and cuffed hems made it perfect and a one-of-a-kind catch. If only I could pull it off too like a 10 year-old... LOL

The gatsby cap (or eight-paneled cap) or golf cap, or the newsboy cap (you may call it anyway you want, they're all the same) complemented the whole outfit. The shoes (although without the spikes) somehow gave a golf shoe vibe as well. Now all he needs is a gold club and he's a putting machine. LOL

Today, he's learning to swing! ....
